The Chocolate Shake Gets an Update with White Miso at David Myers' ADRIFT

Last week I made peanut butter cookies (which is always a good idea), but the best part about this particular recipe is that it called for white miso. I loved the way the mild miso introduced a subtle, savory layer of umami to balance out the rich peanut butter, and also added to the chewiness to the texture.
