Portion Control

Sometimes I hear people comment that main courses aren't as creative or exciting as appetizers. Has anyone else heard this? I know I have. It's always really bothered me, and it's made me think about my menu and menus in general. The thought that occurred to me was that it's easier to be creative with an appetizer than a main course.
